José Miguel Raimundo Noras completed the Interuniversity Doctoral Programme in History: change and continuity in a global world (PIUDHist) with \”Distinction and Praise by unanimity\”, in 2022. Since 2013 he has been a researcher at the History Centre of the University of Lisbon (CH-ULisboa). He completed his Master\’s degree in History of Art, Heritage and Cultural Tourism, specialising in History of Art, in 2011 at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra (FLUC) and his degree in History in 2005 at the same Faculty. During his time as an academic he was involved in association activities (Board Council, University Assembly) and volunteered at the Student Support Office, both in Coimbra. He worked on the initial digitisation of the Revista de História e Teoria das Ideias of the Instituto de História e Teoria das Ideias (IHTI/FLUC) and volunteered in archaeology with agents in the sector (Santarém, Vila Nova de Paiva, Alvaiázere). He successfully completed the Training of Trainers course run by NERSANT – buisness association. He was awarded a PhD scholarship from the Foundation for Science and Technology between 2017 and 2020, with a biographical thesis on José Relvas. He has published 7 articles in specialised journals. He has 10 book chapters and 7 books. Organised 6 academic events. He has received 6 awards and/or honours. He works in the areas of \”Humanities\” with an emphasis on \”History and Archaeology\”, especially \”History\”, as well as in \”Humanities\”, especially \”Arts\”. In his professional activities, he has interacted with 28 collaborators in co-authoring scientific papers. He was also a teacher at Escola EB 2/3 de Pontével, teaching History, Civics, and acted as group delegate, class director and coordinator of monitoring plans. He was a teacher at the Vale do Tejo (EPVT) and Salvaterra de Magos (EPSM) Vocational Schools, where he taught Integration Area, History of Culture and the Arts and Sociology, supervised final exams, juries and collaborated on a Comenius Project. Between 2014 and 2017, he was appointed Secretary General of APMCH (Portuguese Historical Town Association), collaborating in the areas of cultural programming, publishing and digital dissemination. As cultural tourism technician at Viver Santarém county company, he programmed the Commemorations of the 500th anniversary of the Alcanede and Pernes Town Charter and developed activities at Casa do Brasil / Casa Pedro Álvares Cabral. He collaborated as an author with the publishing house Livros de Ontem. After his grant, he resumed his activity in the major events departmente of the Viver Santarém. Since 2022, he works as a full time researcher at the Historic Centre Office in Santarém. Regulary he has been a guest lecturer at the UAL Academy (UAL) and a trainer at the CAP Qualifica Centre (Santarém).
