Ignacio García Pereda

Ignacio García Pereda holds a a Master’s degree in Forestry¿ specialization in Tropical Forestry (2005) and a PhD in History ¿ specialization in Science History (2018), from Universidade de Évora. He is an integrated member of the CIUHCT-UL and is a postdoctoral fellow (CEEC FCT Contract) at the same institution from 2022. He works in the Humanities area with an emphasis on Contemporary History, Education History and History of Science and Technology. The most recent areas of research are royal forests, experimental stations; universities; policies of science; scientific networks; 19th and 20th centuries. He is the author of 11 books, in Portugal, Spain and France.
