José Alberto Tavim ganha bolsa The Lowenstein-Wiener Fellowship (2021-22)
José Alberto Rodrigues da Silva Tavim ganhou a bolsa The Lowenstein-Wiener Fellowship para o ano académico de 2021-2022, atribuída pelo Comité de Bolsas do Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives (AJA), e da Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (UC-JIHR), pelo projecto de investigação intitulado “Aaron Lopez`s social and business networks: a man from Newport (1731-1782)”.
O projecto agora premiado complementa a investigação documental feita há 10 anos na Newport Historical Society, cujos resultados foram já parcialmente publicados no artigo "‘A Lover’s Discourse: Fragments’. The Peninsula, Portugal and its Empire in the Iberian Jew`s Discourse: a few examples with some reflections" (Hispania Judaica Bulletin, vol. 9, 5773/2013, pp. 249-277).
