Tiago Maria Líbano Monteiro Rocha e Melo has an undergraduate degree in History (2020/05/19) and a Master’s degree in Military History (2024/01/17) from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (FLUL), and is currently developing a PhD research project in Ancient Military History, through the Centre for History of the University of Lisbon (CH-ULisboa), and funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), entitled: “The Soldier’s Soul: a study of the moral, morale and psychological landscapes of warfare in the Early Roman Empire (27 BC – AD 117)”. In 2020, he interned with the European Research Council (ERC) project “Rutter Project – Making the Earth Global”, which focuses on the science of navigation in the Early Modern period. He has made various contribuitions to his fields of research, including a Master’s thesis, articles and reviews in national and international journals, and presentations in national and international conferences.
