Teresa Maria e Sousa Nunes graduated in History, in 1993 (School of Arts and Humanities) and has finished her master in Contemporary History (School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon) 1998, with the approval of the master dissertation entitled Carlos Malheiro Dias. Um Monárquico entre Dois Regimes. Has concluded her PhD in History – Contemporary History (University of Lisbon) in 2011, named O Ideário Republicano de Ezequiel de Campos (1900-1919). Teresa Nunes is Assistant Professor at School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon, since September 2012 and coordinator of the European Studies Undergraduate Programme of the same institution, since September 2014. Teresa Nunes is Researcher at Centre of History of the University of Lisbon, since 2014; is also Researcher at HTC – História, Territórios e Comunidades, Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Universidade de Coimbra since 2020. Teresa Nunes coordinates/has coordinated international research projects on european history and european diplomatic relations; has also been part of international research group devoted to the study of Southern European Monarchies during the 19th and 20th centuries. Teresa Nunes has developed research on Contemporary History 19th and 20th centuries, Portuguese Contemporary History 19th and 20th Centuries, History of Republicanism in Portugal 19th and 20th Centuries, Portuguese Agrarian Reforms 19th and 20th centuries and European Diplomatic Relations 19th and 20th centuries.
