Sandra Ferreira

Sandra J.R. Ferreira graduated in History (1998) from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra. Post-graduate degree in documentary sciences – Archive variant (2003), Libraries and Documentation variant (2004) from the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technology. Master’s thesis in Regional and Local History (2008) from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon.

She currently works at Benavente Town Hall, where she is part of the Culture, Tourism, Sport and Youth Division.

Her main research interests concern social and political history, urban history, regional and local history, demographic and territorial studies, mainly in the Ribatejo region, especially in the territory of the current municipality of Benavente, in the modern period.
