Mariana Isabel Machado is a PhD student in History at the University of Lisbon. She also has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in the field, having completed the latter with a dissertation on the royal tombs of the Archaic Period and their association with the figure of King Horus.
He is currently working on iconographic representations of the Egyptian warrior king and royal ideology. He is a Member Administrator of the International Society for the Study of Egyptomania (ISSE) and participates in various events and conferences on ancient Egypt.
