Manuel M. Cardoso Leal has a PhD in Contemporary History from the Faculdade de Letras of the University of Lisbon, 2016. He graduated in Economics from the University of Porto (1966-1971) and completed a post-graduated degree in the VII International Course on European Integration, from the Europa Instituut, University of Amsterdam (1972-1973). He developed a professional career as an economist, during which he wrote two books and published numerous articles. durante a qual escreveu dois livros e numerosos artigos publicados. This curriculum deals with research carried out in the field of Contemporary History .
