Inês Mendes da Silva

Inês Mendes da Silva holds a degree in History, specialising in Archaeology, from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (1998). In 1999, she began working as an archaeologist at ERA Arqueologia SA, where she has served as director and co-director of various rural and urban archaeology projects. Since 2001, she has been involved in Project Management in the field of Heritage at ERA Arqueologia SA. In this capacity, she has taken a particular interest in the archaeological contexts along the riverside of the city of Lisbon, specifically industrial, nautical, and port contexts (modern period). She is a PhD candidate in Maritime History at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon.
