Francisco Pardal

Francisco Pardal was born in 1995 and is a native of São Bento do Cortiço (Estremoz). In 2016, he graduated in History from the Faculty of Letters of University of Lisbon, with a final grading of 15 values. Since 2019, he is a master’s in history – specialization in Modern and Contemporary History – by the same institution. Defended a dissertation entitled Uma devoção de grandes e pequenos: Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Vila Viçosa nos séculos XVII e XVIII, to which the jury attributed a classification of 19 values, unanimously. He is currently a PhD student in History – specializing in Modern History, at the School of Arts and Humanities of University of Lisbon. His areas of research are as follows: social history, religious history and food history.
