António Themudo Barata is an agricultural engineer with postgraduate degrees in management and finance, having completed his master’s degree in Ancient History at FLUL. He is currently a doctoral student specializing in Contemporary History, working on a thesis on the reform of the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy). He is a researcher at the Centre for History of the University of Lisbon in the research group “Cultures and Societies of Encounter.”

Throughout his professional career, he has been involved in banking as a technical and managerial staff member, and has also served as an association leader and agricultural business manager. He is the author of several oral and written communications related to agriculture, particularly on the History of Agriculture.
