André Caracol Teixeira graduated in History from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisboa in 2016. He also holds an MA in Ancient History, with a dissertation about the reception of Classical culture in the 17th century Portugal. He is now a PhD student working on a thesis about the image of the Portuguese kings João IV, Afonso VI and Pedro II between 1640 and 1706, for which he was granted a scholarship by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (UI/BD/152203/2021)
