CH-ULisboa acolhe projectos de candidatura à sexta edição do concurso FCT - Estímulo ao Emprego Científico Individual = CH-ULisboa welcomes projects for application to the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus – 6th Edition

O Centro de História da Universidade de Lisboa (CH-ULisboa) acolhe projectos de candidatura à 6.ª edição do Concurso Individual de Estímulo ao Emprego Científico da FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia.

O CH-ULisboa é uma das mais antigas e experientes unidades de investigação dedicada às ciências históricas existentes em Portugal, com uma actividade de investigação dinâmica e inovadora desenvolvida por uma equipa de cerca de 280 investigadores integrados e colaboradores ligados a redes nacionais e internacionais de pesquisa. O CH-ULisboa tem acesso às melhores condições bibliográficas e arquivísticas em Portugal para a investigação histórica: i) pela proximidade ao Arquivo Nacional da Torre do Tombo (ANTT) e à Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (BNP); ii) pela existência da Biblioteca Central da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, que é a melhor biblioteca universitária portuguesa especializada no domínio das ciências sociais e humanas, disponibilizando amplos recursos e bases de dados online; e iii) pelos vários centros de investigação da Faculdade e respectivas bibliotecas, que incentivam e apoiam a colaboração interdisciplinar e interdepartamental.

Para ser acolhido no CH-ULisboa, deve apresentar o seu projecto tendo em conta o Plano Estratégico e os grupos de investigação (Dinâmicas Imperiais; Estudos de Corte e Diplomacia; Culturas e Sociedades de Encontro; História Militar; Usos do Passado), bem como os termos estipulados na página da FCT e no Regulamento de Emprego Científico.

Será necessário enviar:

1. Resumo do plano de trabalhos (máx. 5000 caracteres);
2. Categoria (Júnior/Auxiliar/Principal);
3. Curriculum vitae;
4. Carta de motivação, explicando o trajecto científico dos últimos cinco anos e sua relevância (máx. 5000 caracteres);
5. Publicações relevantes.

The Centre for History of the University of Lisbon (CH-ULisboa), research unit of the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, welcomes applications for the 6th edition of the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus - 6th Edition (FCT - Foundation for Science and Technology).

The CH-ULisboa is one of the oldest and most experienced research units dedicated to historical sciences in Portugal, with a dynamic and innovative research activity developed by a team of about 280 integrated researchers and collaborators, members of national and international research networks. The CH-ULisboa has access to the best bibliographic and archival conditions in Portugal for historical research: i) it’s nearby the National Archives of the Torre do Tombo (ANTT) and the National Library of Portugal (BNP); ii) the Central Library of the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon is the best Portuguese university library in the social sciences and humanities fields, providing extensive online resources and databases; and iii) the School's various research centres and their libraries encourages and supports interdisciplinary and interdepartmental collaboration.

To be hosted at CH-ULisboa, you must submit your project taking into account its Strategic Plan and research groups (Building and Connecting Empires; Court Studies and Diplomacy; Cultural Encounters and Intersecting Societies; Military History; Uses of the Past), as well as the terms stipulated on the  FCT webpage and in the Scientific Employment Stimulus Regulation.

You will need to submit:

1. Summary of the work plan (max. 5000 characters);
2. Category (Junior/Auxiliary/Principal);
3. Curriculum vitae;
4. Motivation letter explaining your scientific background of the last five years and its relevance (max. 5000 characters);
5. Relevant publications.
