Humankind has never faced a greater challenge than the looming climate crisis, and to face it resiliently and equitably we need to act on an unprecedented scale, now. But not all climate actions are effective- and some may even backfire. Dr. Frances Flannery of BioEarth (501c3) draws on semiotics and social memory theory to offer concrete suggestions for how to mobilize effective change quickly in a sustainable peace movement in which Local+Local+Local=Global, so that all our individual efforts combine to make change on a global scale.
